Fifty-seven commercial banks bought USD 68.573 million and fifteen banks bought EUR 1.01 million from the National Bank of Ukraine at a foreign-currency auction on March 13, with the aim of reselling the foreign currency to their private clients to enable them to repay their foreign-currency loans.
